Weather animations?

Just wondering if anyone's Weather.app is showing animations anymore? Mine shows different background colors depending on the time of day, but no clouds or rain or whatever. Is this a known bug? I reported it on iOS8b1 but beta 2 works the same way. I wonder if they've decided to get rid of the animations altogether?

Edit: turns out a very small town in Arizona which worked fine pre-iOS8 is not recognized as a valid location by the Weather Channel, which caused animations to be disabled. Deleting my weather locations and re-entering them solved the problem.

No, the Yahoo app works fine. The Apple app (Weather.app) no longer shows background weather animations.

Works for me on b2. It's dependent upon "Reduce Motion" being turned off.

Haha, that's the first thing I checked! I remember being annoyed when they made that change in iOS7b3 or whenever it was.
