I have noticed the weather app is absolutely terrible for where i live (north bay area CA). Right now it’s raining fairly hard and the weather for my town just says ‘cloudy’ with NO hour period of > 0% precipitation chance for the entire day.

This has happened tens or even hundreds of times.. i think the data is completely broken that they rely on, that should be impossible.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I recall that it just got the data from weather.com so I checked them and they were wrong too, but it did show 3% or 4% chance, so maybe sub 10% in the weather.com data just displays nothing.

Not showing it raining at all for your town when it is CURRENTLY raining is unforgivable design though. that shouldn't happen if the current radar shows precipitation in the area.

This seems to become an ongoing problem for Apple's app. Reports have popped up on a fairly regular basis. Might have hoped things would have improved with their acquisition of Dark Sky, but it seems they only did it to kill off better competition, not integrate into their own app.
