Weather app menu bar widget keeps showing Cupertino and New York?

That's the thing: It reports my current location just fine at the top of the widget, but the other locations near the bottom of the dropdown menu show just Cupertino and New York, not the actual cities I have listed in the app.
In the app, I don't have Cupertino or New York listed.
It's so frustrating.
See the "Edit your list of locations..." link at the bottom of the guide in the previous message. Maybe just removing and re-adding them would help, but I'd first check the weather app on your other devices logged into the same Apple account. My list on the Mac is the same as whatever is on my iPhone and iPad.
Wow, that worked! I just removed one of the cities from my Weather app and then immediately re-added it, and now the Weather menu bar widget shows all the correct cities!

Turning a setting off and then back on again has been my go-to fix with Windows for years, and it's becoming increasingly more useful with my Apple devices.
