Anyone else seeing that the Weather app menu bar widget keeps defaulting to Cupertino and NY in the drop down menu even if you don't have those cities listed in your Weather app?
 
See the "Edit your list of locations..." link at the bottom of the guide in the previous message. Maybe just removing and re-adding them would help, but I'd first check the weather app on your other devices logged into the same Apple account. My list on the Mac is the same as whatever is on my iPhone and iPad.

Wow, that worked! I just removed one of the cities from my Weather app and then immediately re-added it, and now the Weather menu bar widget shows all the correct cities!

Turning a setting off and then back on again has been my go-to fix with Windows for years, and it's becoming increasingly more useful with my Apple devices.
