Hey Everyone
I'd like to know if anyone else is having this issue and if there's a fix for it. I'm trying to have my weather app display weather for my "home" location. I can't seem to be able to do that. I have "home and work" enabled in weather settings but and my contact card and maps are up to date but it's still not marking my home location as "home. This includes the weather app on my Mac.

I know this isn't a fix for Apple Weather, but I made an app that makes locations a lot more reasonable imo and it's working for me at least, so I thought I'd share.

Check out Weathercaster.

You can tap "use my location" and on a case by case basis it requests your location once (no tracking or updating as you move around), and you can also type in any home and work locations which remain static. You can also edit the locations on a map if you live near microclimates like I do and you want to know what the water is like offshore or on a mountain which probably does not have an address. I like this much better than having iOS track your location and constantly update weather but that gives you duplicate locations (if you add home and are home) and other annoying quirks. If you try it out I'd love to hear what you think!

You'd think the weather app would have gotten better over the years since Apple bought Dark Sky but no, it is still garbage. What did they do with the code and team of people from Dark Sky? Delete it and fire them?
