I have a Series 11 running WatchOS 26.2 which I bought last month. Twice so far when I’ve gotten home the weather app and complications show a town several miles from me that I drove through on my way home as the current location. If I ask Siri the weather it shows my home town as does Maps. Only the weather app is wrong so it seems like a problem with the weather app. Weather on my iPhone and iPad are correct.
When this happens nothing I do can fix it. Restarting and force restarting doesn’t fix it. Toggling location permission between always, never and back to always doesn’t fix it either. The only thing that does is basically leaving my home and going some place else.
One thing that seems to trigger this is having a watch face with a weather complication. I normally use the snoopy watch face and have a work focus watch face with a complication. Sometimes the watch doesn’t switch back to Snoopy and those two times were the times I saw this problem.
I did find a few Reddit threads saying this is a bug in WatchOS 26, but there aren’t a lot of comments on any of them.
Anyone have any ideas?
