Winter is just getting started where I live and we've had some snow off and on lately. So far, the weather app (and Lock Screen background animation) has always shown that it's drizzling or raining, even though it says 'snow' in other parts of the app. (It is definitely snowing.) Also, in the hourly forecast section, the forecast always switches to drizzle/rain when it moves to 'Now'. (i.e. When 4pm rolls around, that snowflake icon in the second screenshot will probably change to rain.)

Anyone else seeing this issue? I don't recall seeing this mismatch/incorrect weather iOS 15.

Do you have precise location turned on in Settings?
Yes, it shows the correct city at the top, and even my street at the very bottom. Same behavior is seen if I search and view other cities where I know it's snowing.

Supposedly Apple is trying to manage their own weather data now (link), so maybe that has something to do with it. For now, I've just been reporting all the inaccuracies. ('Report an Issue' button at the bottom.)

Sidenote: On the precipitation map, is there no way to see what type of precipitation it is (rain vs. mixed vs. frozen)? Was it this way in Dark Sky too? I suppose that is more of a radar map. Hopefully that gets added in the future so I can drop my other weather apps.
