Weather Icons In Notification Center

I've been having an issue with the weather icons disappearing in the public release of Yosemite. The icons were there initially after my update from the public beta but they've since disappeared.

I had to reinstall the OS for a completely separate reason but the icons have disappeared again.

Did I do something wrong? Has anyone else has this happen? I've included an image of the issue to show exactly what I'm talking about.

Yes it has happened to me after a couple of days working fine with no problems, but it apparently fixed itself somehow after a day or so. There was no intervention on my part, it just seemed to correct itself.
