Free app: AccuWeather or WunderMap. Try and don't like it can delete right away, is FREE

I think he means widgets, not apps. There aren't many (I assume you mean android-like widgets). Weather apps, on the other hand, are plentiful.

Ya I want a widget for my homescreen doesn't have to be android like.
