waiting for Forecast..the beta's not available (at least, for those of us who don't already own it.

what weather widgets are working in 8.1, for the lock screen and/or the home screen? would appreciate some recommendations... thx!

am talking about jb apps that show weather info on the lockscreen, or the home screen...(thanx tho!)

I got miweather8, and its pretty nice. think it was 1.99 -- well worth it, but I ended up installing the beta of forecast (since I'd purchased it when I had my iPhone 5s), since it was more minimal and mainly because forecast updates the weather based on your location.

Is iWidgets working in iOS 8?

I use a modified widget from the M2 iWidgets pack and I also use LockHTML to put a modified HTC weather widget on the lockscreen (I removed everything except the animated weather) and on my first home screen. Note, my lockscreen shows Forecast. I screencapped it though to show the animated weather widget I put on it with LockHTML.

I did this quite differently under iOS 6 (NC Weather widget with Dashboard X), but I have about the same look.

But I'm on iOS 7 so I don't know if these work on iOS 8 or not. Just offering ideas.

Which iPhone do you have ? I just bought it and it crashes my phone every time. iPhone 6

am on a 5S. make sure you don't have anything conflicting...before i set it up, i went into hideme8 and disabled the settings i'd created for the login text, the chevron, etc, so that those settings would come ONLY from LSweather...

Just got it going. Groovylock was the culprit.

LSWeather LOOKS great, but it's not updating correctly (am in NYC, and this morning it told me it was 89degrees F (it's 36...). too bad. seems it WILL update if i respring, ie it's useless.

statusforecast puts weather in the statusbar, but...the time gets stuck; every hour. so, also useless.

any other simple weather tweaks to consider in ios8?
please suggest something...

I had same problem with lsweather. Intelliscreenx is up now. Best of everything. Works great too

iWidgets works for the most part on iOS 8, although there are a few glitches. There is an update in the works and the beta is available for download in the iWidgets thread over at modmyi.

So far, lockHTML3 with iWidgets works fine, but only on 5S....my case :)
LockHTML4 and iWidgets updates are under construction at the moment. Should be out very soon. 6 and 6+ covered, of course.

but what are you using for the weather? all i'm seeing is: no theme, analogclock, calendar...

Here is my LS at the moment:

You enable uniAW, in this case CORE theme uniAW, through lockHTML3. You can use any uniAW or iWidget.
