weatherfurik layout help....

i customized (without really knowing what i'm doing) weatherfurik,
and now have date/time/weather above my between icon rows.

but...when there's a long date, it continues on another line (see pic).
anyone know how i can fix this? there seem to be a dozen unused files in the app, not sure what to change to get the date on the same line as the month..

answering my own question

i shortened the months (ie "sept") and all is well...

but wait (sorry)!

anyone know how i can move the temperature closer to the weather icon?
seems a big gap between them.

EDIT: my lack of patience is frightening... figured it out.
will stop posting for the day...
