iPhone X Web browser using Google Translate to translate a word

Dear folk

With Android "Google Translate" can be used to lookup (dictionary translation) for a word while browsing a website.

With IOS can that be done as well ?

I do not think this is possible in iOS as there is no quick actions to bring up Google Translate. You do have an option to "search web" when you look the word up though.
