I have a 1 GHz powerpc G4

Recently all of my web browsers (firefox and kamino) have been crashing. This happens whenever I close or change the url of a large web page I have up. It hardly crashes when I bring up the large web page just when it is closed.

I have safari but it hasn't had this problem with crashing.

I would just use safari from now on but all my passwords are saved on firefox.

1. Why are the web browsers crashing?

2. If I can't stop them crashing can I move my saved passwords onto safari?

you can move your passwords and bookmarks to a new firefox profile, 99% of the chance the problem will be fixed by doing so.

PS. if you don't have too many incompatible extensions and themes, give firefox 3 a try, very good experience.

Solved. I tried firefox 3 and it wouldn't even open. Then I updated flash. All's well now. :)
