Im using my mac for web development, but i need win xp in parallels to look at my local development server to test browser compatibility.

Windows doesn't know how to read HFS+ on it's own. So, my answer is no it can't be done because of that. If your "server" is running Apache webserver then you just have to point to the ip and folder for each site.
