Hi,
I was wondering if I was the only one having trouble with Yosemite's Safari 8.
When I load pages like Facebook or Wikipedia, sometimes they don't load correctly (pictures/elements missing), sometimes they are stuck loading and sometimes they don't load at all.
I tried to empty the cache etc. but didn't work.

I doubt it's my internet connection since I have 175/175 internet connection and they load properly on Chrome.

Thanks!

I have this prob on mavericks :(

My problem was actually caused by my router being configured to use IPV6 but with my Internet provider being not ready.
Some pages (like Wikipedia or Facebook) were trying to load the iPv6 version while my provider wasn't able to load it.
You should definitely take a look at that.

Try disabling the DNS prefetching and check the performance.

Execute the following command in the terminal

defaults write com.apple.safari WebKitDNSPrefetchingEnabled -boolean false
