For Christmas, I'm thinking of giving my girlfriend a subscription to some web hosting service. She keeps misplacing thumb drives and stuff, and losing her files that way. Some web space to store her files would be the perfect solution.
She won't be hosting any websites or anything, just storing files, that's all.
So far, I actually think MobileMe seems to be the best solution, being simple, Windows and Mac-compatible, and it happens to come with email, calendar and photos (I think she would like the web gallery feature alot), as well as easy web access to her files. It can also be mapped as a networked drive on Windows (and used in the Finder in OS X), making it ideal. 20 GB of space is plenty for her.
I can get an account for her for the year for ~$60 on eBay.
Does anyone have better ideas or suggestions? I'd like to hear them!
