webcam/camera?

hi people, i need a wecam and i also wanted to update from my old 2mp camera.
are there any cameras out there that work as webcams for the mac?
it doesnt have to be anything super expensive or fancy as the 2mp camera i have now still looks great to me.
i wanted the webcam option for instant messangers and making youtube vids sat at the computer.
any reccomendations?
