You guys have any recommendations for webcam covers for the 2017 MacBook Pro?

I don't want to leave any residue, and want to be able to open/close easily without having to peel it off. Also, because the MBP is so thin, I don't want to cause pressure on the screen when the lid is closed.

You gotta love that sticky residue

Just type “no residue tape” into Amazon. There are an abundance of choices.

Stick-it notes. Cut as much as you need with adhesive on it. Does not leave residue as per my experience.

Nothing.

FaceTime camera can’t be activated without activating the indicator light. Mac camera is more secure than your iPhone camera for that reason. If you don’t cover your iPhone camera, why would you cover your Mac?

Also, use this to cover your head OP.

Haha! How times have changed! I remember that I'm a Mac/I'm a PC apple commercial when PC was all proud about getting a webcam taped to his head, prompting all us Mac folks to brag to our pc friends about our built-in webcams... Now, we're going around asking what's the best tape to use to cover up our webcams!

For the record, I use blue 3M painters tape. It's just thick enough to easily get a finger nail or a credit card under a corner to peel off.

:D
