webcam freezes

am having apple macbook in yahoo messneger when i connect with the other party, my picture freezes (with the last image in the window), but I can see and hear the other person im talking with. They can also still hear me, but with a frozen picture. I hang up every few minutes and call them back until it freezes again.please help me how to solve this

is it only in yahoo messenger or is it with ichat/facetime/photobooth too?

it is only in yahoo messneger i think, i havent tried any chat other than yahoo messenger .
