Hi All,
I'm trying to set up my Samsung SC-X105L as a web cam. I haven't seen any documentation anywhere that says it is not supported by OS X, yet it is not recognized by iChat or photobooth. It is technically a camcorder but it has a "pc-cam" mode (as it calls it) that i have tested to work under windows. It's hooked up via usb on my mac mini.
Any advice?

I haven't had much luck with real camcorders (like yours) as web cams on the mac. However, if you have a regular Windows webcam that doesn't seem to work on your Mac you could try this:
http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/

I don't think it will help with your Samsung camcorder though...

I have a sony and it doesn't work with usb and a webcam but it will work with the firewire connection.
