Webcam on iChat

Hi everyone,
So my issue is that sometimes I just want to watch another person on cam on iChat but when I disable my camera it disables their ability to send me a one way video chat. Is there any way I can turn my cam off and still view theirs? I feel like iChat is forcing me to be on cam.

you can disable your internal mic in the system preferences and cover your isight with a piece of black electrical tape...if it's really that important. I don't know if you can straight up disable the camera.
