Hello,

i'll try an explain this as simply as i can

i have a mac mini, purchased a webcam to attach .. an ausdom 1080p HD webcam, it was pretty low cost budget, so i expected more, better quality considering it was 1080p

so I'm trying to see if i can adjust the settings, their is no software for mac, only windows, its just a plug n play device.

when i use photo booth, the display window is huge, shows all of me, and most of my surroundings around me.

when i use the webcam for FaceTime, the display window is tiny, and it barely fits my head in, let alone the rest of me or my surroundings,
so i have to sit back just to get my face and upper chest in

is their a way to change the viewing dimensions of the FaceTime window, not the receivers window, but of mine ?

many thanks in advance,
Stuart

bump for similar interest. *not many new posts (post-2012) about webcam for mini??

(I guess those with FaceTime needs pass on the Macmini?)
