Webcam problems for Yahoo messenger pls help..

good day.. i install a new version of yahoo messenger 3.0 for mac in my macbook but then it cannot open a webcam from another computer same as the computer of my friend wants to access my webcam but cannot open it..it says there is no available cam.. i can see my own webcam if i open it in my macbook but others cannot access it..what is the problem..ill appreciate if you reply and help me for this...tnkss
