Webcam Recommendations

Hi everyone,

I want to get a webcam to go with my Mac Pro and I cannot afford an iSight for the prices I have seen them on eBay. Do you guys have any recommendations? I am running 10.4.11 and if it helps my budget is about GBP30.

Go to http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/ - they have a list of supported cameras. Now that Apple have dropped the iSight external cameras it's not so easy to use an external. You can use a video camera with a firewire lead as a webcam, and I've heard of people using a digital still camera as well. Don't just buy any webcam and expect it to work though.
