Webcam Record 30fps H.264

I bought a Logitech c930e webcam which has fantastic video quality, however capturing the H.264 stream has been a nightmare.

You can use Quicktime's best settings to get 1080p, but it's not H.264 - and the frame rate sucks even if youve got SSD, plentiful RAM, good processors.

The only app I have found that actually captures full motion 1080p is for windows, called Youcam. OpenBroadcaster does not do it, the frame rate sucks. I havent got my 2012 quad i7 Mini online yet, but with that machine the Youcam software says I can capture in H.264. My 2010 mini will only capture as .AVI, at 230 Megs per minute for 720p.

So, my point is, has anyone verifiably been able to record 1080p or even 720p, at a steady 30fps, in H.264, on Mac OS? If I have to use Windows, I will, but would be nice if this could be done on Mac OS.
