Hey Guys,

I have two young kids that share a room (6mos and 20mos), and I would like to set up a video and audio monitoring system for them. I've tried the video baby monitors and other wireless security systems out there, but haven't been satisfied with them, so I'd like to implement something of my own. This is where I need help.

What I'm looking to do is set up a single webcam and mic in their room, and serve it out on my local network so that we can watch it on a mobile device, or our MBP. I'd prefer not to have to purchase a computer for their room, both from a power and overall cost standpoint. Something like a print server is exactly what I'm looking for, but I don't know if those work for USB Webcams. Their room does have a coaxial outlet and is prewired with an ethernet port, so those are also available.

There has to be an easy solution out there for this...I could use some help! Thanks
