webcaming on MSN messenger possible?

hi,
i jus got my macbook and have downloaded the MSN messenger for mac on the apple website...
but then i just found out that i cant webcam with my MSN contacts who dont use mac version.
is there a MSN mac version that allows webcaming with people with Windows MSN??

I didn't think that you could webcam on MSN Mac at all.

Messanger 8 for Mac with A/V support is due for public beta around March 2010.

There is something called Mercury Messenger. I used it and it feels pretty sluggish compared to the MSN for Mac. But it gets the job done. I don't know why Adium is taking so long.

the last time i knew about A/V with Adium was that the base client they use doesn't support it at the moment so they're waiting until they eventually do, i hope it's soon though because i don't like aMSN or Mercury.

Official Microsoft support for webcam on MSN for Mac has been a long time coming. I'm fairly sure it was promised to us a long to ago, hopefully it should be officially supported soon.
