Webclip for doc in email cache?

I've emailed myself a PDF of the MTA subway map, so I can view it offline...

I'm looking to create a webclip of the PDF so i don't have to keep going through the email app to look at it.

My guess is the iPhone's PDF viewer is within Safari...

Would it be possible to type in the local path/filename of the PDF within Safari and i can create a webclip from there?
