* not sure whether this is the right sub forum*
hi all,
I have a wall mounted large screen TV in my office without webcam. My office pc is a MacBook Pro (dead webcam).
I can connect the MBP and TV either through HDMI or more conveniently, through an Apple TV. I realise Apple TV will be a bit slow but I also want to use the largescreen for showing presentations etc through wifi.
I would like to put a webcam on top of TV so that I can run videoconferencing in the largescreen through MBP.
However, connecting webcam directly to MBP is tricky because it will need really long cable from one side of the room to the other.
Is there any better option? In terms of webcam, setup or else? Many thanks guys for your assistance and suggestions.
