I finally got my own website (amazing deal at dreamhost.com - 200 gigs, 2100 Gig bandwidth, $30 for first year) and have created a number of WebDAV-ready subdirectories. Option-K, put in your password, and voila, I have as many iDiscs as I want, 200 gigs worth for about 1/3 of .mac.
Anyway, it does take some time to upload large files, as expected. I'm currently upload a 100MB video file and it will take 5-10 mins. That's fine.
BUT - and here's my question - is there anyway to see the progress of the upload? What happens is that is copies the whole file in a matter of seconds (as it would if I were copying to a hard drive), and only then begins the upload. I'd like to know how far along it is.
Does anyone know how to find that out?
Thanks!
