According to AppleInsider, the WebKit nightly builds (which power Safari and other apps) is the first browser to pass the Acid3 test. A beta version of Opera also passed it. As far as I know, they are the only browsers to do that. For comparison, because I know how many M$-haters there are here, IE 7 got 14 & IE 8 beta 2 got 21 (out of 100). But we all knew IE was gonna score low, right?

Actually both Webkit and Opera received a score of 100 some time ago...but you don't really pass the test until you can receive 100/100 and pass the smooth animation test.

Webkit was the first one to do this and the only one at this point as far as I know.

I just wanna know if passing the smooth animation test means it'll handle animated GIF's properly now. lol
