I am trying to set up drupal on WebServerXKit (AMP+Ruby+GUI, pretty much) and I need to change the MySQL root password. To do this, I need the old (a.k.a. default) root password. What is the default MySQL root password in WebServerXKit? Thanks

Usually 'root' or 'admin'

You can change it in the WebServerXKit Pref pane.

yes, the problem is that you need to know the old password when changing it in the preference pane. neither 'root' or 'admin' have worked. i am truly stumped
