I have been thinking about doing this for a while now.

Basically what I want to do is create a website which focuses around screen casts/Tutorials that are related to the mac. The screen casts will demonstrate how to set various things up or get stuff done faster in the OS X environment.

I plan on having the site joomla based with a forum and what not. What do you guys think of the idea? I don't plan on making any money off the site either, a just for fun kind of thing.

What about doing it on a YouTube channel?

Just a thought. Could save you the effort of making the website if what you're really focusing on is the content.

Great ideas, how would I go about getting on itunes though?

I like the effort of making a site :D.

I know that if you (also) upload your videos to Revver it can create a podcast from those, or in combination with the website Feedburner.

Apple has a podcast application form for iTunes here.

looks good - let me know if you have any questions about joomla - i too started a site about 5 months ago (although its not related to mac but ps3 instead) pm me! my sites at socomfans.com.
