Can someone answer this easy question? There are certain websites that make my CPU fan go crazy. answers.com is one of them. That's just an easy example. I don't see any flash on them, but my fan speed goes into overtime on a few. What's the deal?

Sites that use Flash content are notorious for consuming system resources, which can increase temperatures and cause fans to spin faster. There may also be other content in websites that does the same thing. It's not limited just to Flash.

By the way, you posted this in the iOS 8 forum, rather than a Mac forum, where it belongs. Already reported, so a moderator should move it soon.
