I don't have Adobe Flash on this Mac and when I go to a certain website, it needs it to open the calendar. Is Flash any better than it used to be? Is there another way to view this page on another browser?

Chrome has Flash built. I prefer not to have Flash installed on my system, so I use Chrome for any site that requires Flash.

I do the same thing as CoastalOR. One benefit in not installing Flashplayer for all your browsers is that the negative energy impact of Flash is not carried over when you use a web browser that doesn't support Flash (like Safari).

Flash is a complete resource pig.

Ignoring the ongoing critical security issues with Flash, it is better from a battery performance standpoint not to use Google Chrome or install Flash on an Apple notebook computer.
