I am experiencing a problem with our website not corresponding to iPad.

The website is 1050 px wide (so I know that it exceeds the iPad's 980 px), but the site is not reacting on any viewport code trying to solve the issue.

The url is www.magnettv.dk – is there anybody out there that can help me?

Thank you so much in advance!

thanks, but...

... a double tap meaning the iPad user will need to double tap the screen in order to see our website correctly? Our issue is that the website per default is too wide (or at least it goes to close to line). Is there a workaround this for ipad other than newport code so that the viewer will see our website on iPad correctly (fitted to iPad) instead of having to do any actions?

Thanks for your reply – it is much appreciated :)

You're best, though probably most complicated option, but would be to look at making it responsive.

Make it 960px wide (most websites are, or were, anyway) or create a fluid/responsive website. You can also use jQuery/JavaScript for your website to determine whether the user is on a mobile device (this would be useful for all tablets, not just the iPad), and to adjust the website accordingly.
