I noticed that for some apps (in this case the Newton email client) the website version and the desktop version of the Mac app store display dramatically different reviews & ratings. Why is that? I'm signed into the US app store if that matters. But I can't imagine an app as old as Newton only has 2 reviews on MAS.

It's not the same app the screenshots…

Yes, you're right. That was a stupid oversight on my part.

On Newton Mail's Mac App Store page, it only displays 2 reviews with a 1.0 rating

On the website, it displays 3k reviews with a 4.3 rating
