iPad Pro Websites do not "remember" logins

Since a few days / 1-2 weeks I observe on my iPad (Pro, M1, 11", iPad OS 16.5.1) that I need to login every time again when I visit specific websites, for example also here into the forum of MacRumors. I am using Firefox as my standard web browser.

I do not observe the same behavior on my MacBook.

Has anybody an idea what could be the root cause for this behavior which I didn´t observe in the past?

Looks to be a bug. I don't normally use Firefox but I can replicate this on my M1 12.9.
