This is my first post, so go easy on me! My daughter was recently married and we have the ceremony on video (dvd). It was made on a pc(if that matters) and it will play on our intel imac. Also the wife got a new ipod (30gb) and now wants the video on the ipod, and i have no idea how to do this, so i need your help, also i am very green when comes to computers(you gotta tell me step by step what to do). Thanks in advance for your help....

theres a program called "HandBrake lite" that will quickly and easily rip dvds in the right format for iPods

Handbrake 0.7.1 May Be Better Than Handbrake Lite or MediaFork

I am a Handbrake 0.7.1 expert. What is your goal for the iPod version? Do you want to be able to play from your iPod to a TV? Or is it only to watch on the iPod?

My tutorial on how to optimize your rip so it can do both best. I prefer Handbrake 0.7.1 because I find parts of MediaFork to not work as well.

Do what he said. Its very simple. After you have your video file, add it to iTunes and then your iPod.

just open it with iTunes once you're done burning, depending on your settings it might copy the file to your iTunes library so don't worry if it takes a while before it plays.

Then it should just go onto your iPod when you sync
