Hi there, I've just had my week 41 ipod touch replaced due to dead pixels and i've now got a week 43 touch. I'm absolutely loving it but I'm pretty sure the screen is a bit different to the week 41 touch. It seems a little less bright and maybe slightly more pixelated on album artwork etc (not much at all and certainly not worth getting replaced for). Has Apple completely changed the screens I wonder? It (screen image) seems a little more "matt"-sorry I can't be more descriptive but it just seems different. Anyway, i'm happy anyhoo.

Hmmm brighter i wonder why...Maybe because you can change the brightness.

Just posted on another forum too and i probably articulated it better there. The menus seem a bit more grey than the light blue of earlier models. I think it has a better range of contrast and, as a result, seems a bit darker. It's not the brightness, rather contrast.
