Weekend lines at the Apple Store

I happened to be a to the Mission Viejo mall this afternoon and there was a line of about 20-25 people outside the Apple store waiting to get their hands on the new iPad. The store was packed too. I'm interested to hear Apple's sales totals.

I stopped into the Northpark mall (Dallas, TX) store today. It was busy as usual, but they seemed to be selling iPads to anyone who needed one.

Good to see that everyone has been able to get what they want this time around.

I went into Best Buy on launch day (for something else) and it was dead. I also went into the local Apple store early afternoon and while busy, people seemed to have no problems getting any.

Dumb to me. So many stores have lots of stock on hand. NOBODY at radioshack.

I went to the apple store in sacramento and they were lining people up so they could get the new iPad.
