Inspired by this weeks Omar Gonzalez video, the theme for this week is doors. Single, plural, proverbial, phyiscal. Whatever. Have fun.

As always, the standard rules apply:

• The photographs must be your own work. No AI generated images.

• You may only submit one photo per contest.

• No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.

• This contest runs for about a week, starting now.

• At the end of the competition, the judge (last week's winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.

• The 1st place winner will start a new thread here with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

• Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.

• Contest will end May 17 at 8 pm CEST. ( yes, 8 days, probably will be away next weekend so you have an extra day)

Thanks for all the entries. The standard disclaimer applies.

@kendallm Nice. I looked up Evan Kasle. He made some more public art. Nice find. Thanks.

@Time89 Fascinating. It's not the Museum in Munich I guess. I looks so deserted and not the design I would expect from a BMW museum.

@C0ncreteBl0nde An abandoned building or just someone who values their privacy? At first I didn't like the colors, but after some consideration I feel that it adds to the mystery.

@mtbdudex Again a photo that made me search the web. bigart.ca made these doors. Although the sign explains a lot, I think leaving it out would increase the mystery and confusion.

@Snowlover "None shall pass!" What's not to like. A cat on the internet. Bonuspoints. 🙂

@cjsuk Nice. Just a hint of movement on the biker. Love the composition.

@Q-Dog I love this perspective. I can't tell if it is taken from a basement or a really low angle.

@someoldguy Missing doors! Where is this? Castle? Monestary?

@_timo_redux_ The door to Donald T's shed? I notice that in 2019 you already liked tight framing/crops. I like it. It makes me wonders what's behind that door.

The podium:

This is a hard one.

3rd @kendallm
2nd @Q-Dog
1st @cjsuk

Thanks for the 1st. Was not expecting that!

The photo was taken round the corner from me with a (I think £20) Praktica MTL50 film camera on Ilford HP5 when I was testing it. DSLR scanned after.
