So I found this mobile substrate through SBSettings called WeeLoader. I have searched high and low to try and find out what it is/for but to no avail. The only thing I can find on Google is this -

WeeLoader is similar to PreferenceLoader, but for WeeAppPlugins rather than PreferenceBundles. Basically, it makes SpringBoard load WeeAppPlugins from a different directory. This is beneficial for a few reasons: it works better with Safe Mode, as WeeLoader isn't loaded into SpringBoard in that case, and it easily fixes all of the issues with semitethered jailbreaks and Wee apps.

What are Wee apps and WeeAppPlugins?

I have found for me, it doesn't have any dependencies so I've uninstalled it through Cydia. Touch wood, all seems to be OK so far. However, I just hope it's nothing that's needed and uninstalling it won't mess up my iPad

Can anyone enlighten me?

WeeAppPlugins are the notification center widgets. Might want to test your NC to make sure it didn't mess up anything up by uninstalling WeeLoader.

Sorry to sound dumb but what are these widgets in NC that you talk of? Are they like the SBSetting toggles?

If you put your finger on the clock, and pull it straight down you should load the notifications center. A menu drops down with weather info and stock prices on it. If nothing happens, then you might look in settings and see if it is enabled...

When I pull down my NC there is no weather or stock prices, never have been? All I get is the notifications I have enabled such as mail, ebay, etc. Then at the bottom there are my SBSettings toggles from Cydia.

Is this normal to not have the weather and stock prices? I have an iPad 3.

On an iPad that is normal, as they don't come with apples weather or stock programs. But if that is still working, and they are still being updated, it would appear you haven't harmed anything.

The widgets are the things like weather and stocks, that almost everyone has seen by now, as well as email, and anything thing else there. In my opinion SBSettings toggles, is not a good example because they can refer to multiple locations now.

Argh, got ya :) Thanks for this.

So basically, if I want to add weather widgets or the like from Cydia, then I'm gonna need WeeLoader?

As it had no dependencies, I uninstalled it and so far, so good.
