I recently had both to inspect and weighed the plastic shells by the pair. Incase weighed in at 8.75 ounces. Incipio Feather weighed in at 9 oz.
Surprising is that I expected the perforated to weigh less due to all the holes throughout. Feather apparenty uses a thinner plastic in theirs. Feather does have perforations, but only in one area and done expressly to dissipate heat.
Although the Incase looks to have a moire effect in the event of a black case on the aluminum MBA body, the white version I think would show less of it. The feather I had in hand was in black and it immediately took on noticeable finger oil spots, which wasnt something I noticed with the Incase perforated. This gave me the impression that the Feather would look like hell in a short time frame of using it.
