I saw in a store the MBP 13 and it doesn't really seem much bigger than the macbook 12, in videos it seems bigger

I couldn't compare the weight

Is noticeable in every day use?

The difference is about one pound (2.03 for MB vs 3.02 for MBP). That's not a lot until you have it and whatever else you carry in a backpack and carry it around all day. Personally, it's negligible to me, but as with most things, YMMV.

It's significant, yes.

Just moved from a 12" rMB to a 13" rMBP myself. It's noticeably heavier. Thickness doesn't matter so much, but the two generally go hand-in-hand.

Just depends what matters to you - power, or portability.

I recently made this decision. The MacBook 12 is definitely lighter, but the MacBook Pro 13 is pretty darn good as well. The benefit of 4 USB access point versus 1 on the MacBook 12 were the deciding factor for me. A couple of months later I'm happy with the decision.

As the previous poster pointed out, I/O is the biggest issue with the 12” rMP. The difference between 1 usb-c and 4 thunderbolt 3 ports is a huge one.

This may be a moot point to you, however, if you only ever plug into power.
