Today my 3gs froze so i hard rebooted it and it stayed at the apple boot logo for a while and never came back. So now its in a boot loop where it restarts and then about 10 minutes later reboots again, but when its connected to a computer iPhoto and iTunes recognize it as if it were perfectly fine and it syncs data with iTunes and i can see my pics and vids on iPhoto when it automatically opens it. I have no idea whats up. i tried the irecovery method and nothing happened. Im sorry if this has been gone over before but i couldnt find where. thanks

Weird, Im suprised iRecovery didnt start it right up.
Try it again and if everything fails then try a restore if you can.

The apple logo comes up for a minute or so, then it vibrates as if its fine, then makes the charging sound 3-4 times then goes back and restarts again.

No. I have Att so I have no reason to unlock.

If you have SSH installed then you can probably get to a command line during the reboot cycle and force it into recovery mode via command line. I had to do this when I got in a continuous reboot cycle not too long ago. if you need the command, I can look it up for you.
