So made a quick video and imported into after effects cs4, only soon to realize that the audio is not working. Very strange.....
here is a screen shot if it helps

Any suggestions on how to fix it???

update:
imported some other audio files and no audio output is coming out.

The same thing happened to me. I exported the file, video worked great, but no audio. What I ended up doing was bringing the video into Final Cut, and then just adding the audio track separately and re-exported.

One thing I didn't try in AE was to put the audio track on the main timeline (as opposed to inside a comp).
 
Hit 0, wait for it to ram preview then audio will work. If not then check your time controls panel if your audio isnt muted.
 
When I had that issue, that didn't fix it for me. As a matter of fact, I could hear the audio during play back, just not when the final video was exported. I even made sure the audio check box was selected and everything. That could have just been my buggy program though, it might work for bki.
