Got the highend 15'' mbp about a week ago, and everything works perfect. Except one thing.

When i click the airport icon in top border it says "no airport card installed" (or similar, I dont have it set to english). The icon is grey, just as it looks when its turned off.
Yet, my wireless connection works perfectly (as far as I can tell).
I installed iStat menu 3, and judging by that it doesnt show any problems with my wireless internet.

So, my airport clearly works! It sends and receives data from a wireless connection.
But because I get this error message when I try clicking the icon, there is no(?) way for me to turn the airport off, or to change quickly to a different wireless connection.

I already had a wireless connection set up from before, so when I installed OSX on the new mbp, Im 99% sure that I choose my connection and moved on. Im saying 99% because my memories is somewhat vague, sorry.

Ive read other threads about aiports giving the "no card installed" error, but reading those threads it seems like they are also unable to connect to a wireless connection. Something that I can.

Any idea how I can resolve this?
