Weird App icon for Snapchat notifications

has anyone seen this before? it was a blank app icon with the grid on it and after trying some troubleshooting of uninstalling the app, rebooting both devices and such. now i'm seeing this icon when a notification pops up on my Watch

Are you running watchOS 4.0.1? It was a common issue for the icons for some apps to appear white on watchOS 4, however the white exclamation point icon is new.
