Weird AppleTV3 bug (AppleID prompt)

Lately my ATV3 keeps turning itself on in the middle of the night and asking for my iTunes Store password. I’ve taken to signing out entirely for now as it keeps happening every few days, any ideas what it could be?

On another device, check your iTunes account, see if everything is up to date. If you have an expired card in there it can do this.
