I never had this problem until apple released an update for the mbp, its pretty annoying too. Maybe i have a virus or something.

whenever i type in www.ma (for www.macrumors.com) in the search bar, it automatically comes up as www.ma/ . When i hit enter it redirects me to a kissing disease website (wtf). Its annoying because i visit this site regularly and if i type in www.mac it directs me here.

If one day someone looks at my history and sees this, they would freak out.

I tried to describe the problem the best i can, is anyone else having this problem or should i get my laptop checked? thanks.

You don't have a virus, since none exist in the wild that can run on current Mac OS X.

I can't tell for sure, but that sounds like Safari's "improved" address bar.
This is exactly what it is. Pay attention when you type in the address bar. When you type: www.mac
It completes the address from your bookmarks or history, turning it into: www.macrumors.com

If you want to go to www.mac.com, type the whole thing.
